Sonny Poskie said, "We wanted to retire because we wanted to retire on top, there comes a time to give something up even though you love it. We all love racing but it is time to move on before one of us gets hurt. We would all like to thank our team owner Steve Wallace for letting us decide when to quit and helping us when we needed it. He is a great guy and a great BMX champion in his day."
"What more can you say about this nice group of kids other than they are true champions on and off the racing circuit and will be missed in the BMX world," said a Steel Wheels BMX Track operator.
