Small Town Poker Tour Visits Saskatchewan, Canada

Aug. 1, 2005 -- The Small Town Poker Tour, continuing to look for unique venues, recently visited Saskatchewan, Canada.

Mark Fracalossi executive producer and creator of the tour visited possible sites. "We spent a few days traveling from Saskatoon to Prince Albert and a few stops between" Fracalossi said. "I was a guest of the Saskatchewan Indian Gaming Authority (SIGA), and visited a few of their casinos."

The Small Town Poker Tour is the world's largest amateur poker tour, which plans tours in the United States, Canada, Europe and Asia. The tours will be filmed for television and shown worldwide. The tour is unique in many aspects focusing on unique locations and donating all proceeds from the tour to local charities.

The Small Town Poker Tour is as simple as the title states, blending everyday people with the exciting game of Texas Hold'em."The money we raise will stay local, it's a chance for all poker players to come to give something back," Fracalossi stated.
